Presbyterian Young Adult Volunteers
Each winter since 2004 the Cascabel Hermitage Association (CHA) has hosted the Tucson chapter of the Presbyterian Young Adult Volunteers for their Lenten Retreat. Generally 6-8 recent college graduates who are spending a year in Tucson volunteering with various service agencies attend this event from Wednesday through Sunday of the week of Lent. Their Tucson based leaders plan the activities, which always include the opportunity for individual 1-3 day solitary retreats. They usually also enjoy a hike up Hot Springs Canyon, campfires at the Support Center, and general R & R.
