Proctor Academy
The Proctor Academy Mountain Classroom has visited Hot Springs Canyon on several occasions. Most recently, in January of 2007, 10 students did their solo experience with the Cascabel Hermitage Association in Hot Springs Canyon and surrounding uplands, and as a group also studied the natural history of the Sonoran Desert and engaged Cascabel Hermitage Association staff in discussions on sustainability.
